FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

You have questions? We have answers.

Q: CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGES?
A: No outside food and/or beverages are allowed, with the exception of water.  Alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Q: HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO VISIT THE RUSH - REPUBLIC AQUATIC PARK WITHOUT A PARENT OR GUARDIAN?
A: Individuals ages 11 and younger MUST be under the direct supervision of a related adult (age 18 or over) while in the facility. Direct supervision is defined as being within arm's reach of each other.

Q: DO I NEED PROOF THAT I AM A REPUBLIC RESIDENT TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT?
A: Yes. We are grateful for our Republic voters and will continue to provide a resident discount. Please bring your ID or proof of residency to receive this discount.

Q: WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE RESIDENT DISCOUNT, AND HOW IS RESIDENCY DETERMINED?
A: The resident discount is available to households with a home address located within the City of Republic or Brookline city limits. These residents contribute to City taxes that help support our parks and recreation programs. Families who attend Republic Schools but live outside city limits—such as those with a Springfield or other non-Republic/Brookline address—aren’t eligible for the resident discount because their taxes go toward the school district rather than the City. If you’re ever unsure about your eligibility, we’re happy to help check your address!

Q: DOES EVERYONE NEED TO PAY ADMISSION?
A: Yes; however, children age 3 and younger are free! We also offer a non-swimmer rate; non-swimmers will be provided a wristband by our front desk staff.

Q: DOES THE RUSH ACCEPT CARDS?
A: Yes! We accept both cash and card payments. Please note, we do not accept American Express, and tap-to-pay options such as Apple Pay or Google Pay are not available.

Q: DO I NEED A STAMP TO RE-ENTER THE FACILITY?
A: Yes. Anyone who leaves the facility that plans to return will need a stamp from the front desk staff. If you are unable to show your stamp, re-entry will not be allowed.

Q: WHAT DOES MY SEASON PASS INCLUDE?
A: Your season pass includes admission during regular open swim hours. The pass also includes entry to Splash Time, Lap Swim, and River Walk. The pass DOES NOT include The Huna surfing simulator ($5 daily fee) or entry into special events and programs.

Q: CAN I BRING FLOATIES FOR MY CHILD?
A: All floatation devices must be US Coast Guard approved. The Rush staff reserve the right to check your life jackets to maintain a safe swimming environment. Examples of prohibited floats include, but are not limited to, the following: arm floaties, monofins, boogie boards, swim noodles, tubes, and infant pool float rings. If you want to purchase a US Coast Guard approved life jacket, we recommend visiting puddlejumperusa.com.

Q: DOES THE RUSH OFFER RAIN CHECKS?
A: Our priority  is to ensure a seamless experience for all guests. In the event of inclement weather during your visit to The Rush, guests who have been present for less than two (2) hours and do not want to wait during a weather delay should come to the front desk or find one of our Aquatic Supervisors to be provided a rain check. Rain checks can be used for entry on a later date. This policy applies to all weather delays.

Q: DOES THE RUSH OFFER CASH REFUNDS?

A: Per the City of Republic's financial policy, we cannot offer cash refunds. We recommend paying with a card so any refund amount can be credited back to the card.

Q: DO YOU OFFER SWIMMING LESSONS?

A: We do not currently offer group or private swim lessons. However, we do offer Tiny Tides Water Time for children under the age of 3. This 45-minute guided session gives children ages 6 months to 3 years the opportunity to get comfortable in the water, explore at their own pace, and enjoy The Rush during a calm, crowd-free environment. Led by a friendly Rush staff member, families participate in simple water play activities that help build confidence, encourage bonding, and make the pool a fun and familiar place. In addition, we offer our Jr. Tigersharks Swim Team. While this is a non-competitive program, participants will learn diving, flip turns, and proper stroke technique. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards independently without a flotation device.

Q: IS THERE A DRESS CODE AT THE RUSH?
A: At The Rush, we are committed to providing a family-friendly environment that prioritizes the safety and comfort of both our guests and team members. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all guests must wear appropriate attire while enjoying pools, rides, and attractions.
